It’s a Kohl’s day after all. Elle Skirt, Elle Heels. And golly gee, I got my winter coat in the mail from Kohl’s the other day. This scalloped skirt will likely be a new staple. On & off camera. It’s comfy, versatile, and girly. Please bear with me as I lolligag on a little English language jaunt… I feel as though the word “scalloped” should have an extra “p” in it. Isn’t that how the grammatical rules go? But it looks oh so wrong that way. “Scallopped”=yucky looking. See, the people who decide how words should be spelled have an eye for the aesthetic too apparently. They decided not to give it an extra “p” cuz it just didn’t look right.
